The year ended with yet another highly volatile session with extremely high volume for the cannabis stocks:
Hemp, Inc. (HEMP) closed at a two-month high as volume soared to the highest level since late August. Cannabis Science (CBIS) closed at a five-month high, with volume at the highest level since February. Medbox (MDBX) rallied sharply again, but closed lower in December. Founder Vincent Mehdizadeh appeared on iCannabisRadio on Monday. Terra Tech (TRTC) closed at the highest level since August. CEO Derek Peterson participated in a live webinar on Wednesday, December 18th (slides and recording). Medical Marijuana, Inc. (MJNA) closed at a two-month high on volume that was close to the late-August high. GrowLife (PHOT) posted a 52-week high. mCig (MCIG) posted strong volume again and extended its range but plunged at the close. Peoplestring (PLPE) reversed sharply after enjoying an explosive rally in December. The company is changing its name to Vape Holdings and will soon trade under the symbol "VAPE" following a reverse split effective 1/6 (1:40). The stock, which was mentioned in this article published last week.
