Cannabis stocks closed out a fantastic quarter with decent gains as 67% of the companies rose in price. There were 11 double-digit percentage gainers and just 2 double-digit percentage losers. Stocks with volume above the 30-day average fell to 25% from 29%, with just 4 stocks trading over $5mm in value. None of the 10 highest dollar-volume stocks fell in price.
US Energy Initiatives (USEI) posted a new high as volume increased. Tauriga Sciences (TAUG) shot higher on higher volume, recovering from Friday's steep losses after the company announced a private placement of its shares and the refinancing of some debt. PotNetwork420.com (UTRM) recovered some recent losses as volume tapered. Enertopia (ENRT) has almost doubled from Friday's low as volume accelerated.
Zoned Properties (ZDPY) was slammed by the sudden departure of the CEO, with volume picking as the stock has now lost 75% of its value since peaking in early March. Mountain High Acquisition (MYHI), another property play and a recent reverse merger, fell as volume accelerated. AVT, Inc. (AVTC) broke $3 for the first time since early January as volume picked up. Plandia Biotechnology (PLPL) closed below $1 for the first time since late January as volume jumped higher.
