Cannabis stocks continued to retreat, with many stocks breaking to new recent lows. 34% of the stocks rose in price, with 2 double-digit percentage gainers and 4 double-digit percentage losers. Stocks with volume above the 30-day average rose remained at 38%, with one stock trading over $5mm in value. Five of the ten highest dollar-volume stocks rose in price as five stocks traded above $1mm. Benzinga's 420 Marijuana Index fell from 313 to 303, a new post-peak low. The index is up 90% year-to-date but down substantially from the 1010 peak in March.
Stocks moving more than 5% on more than $500K in volume included none to the upside and American Green (ERBB), Creative Edge Nutrition (FITX) and Medbox (MDBX) to the downside.
